What are the ceremony and reception venues like?

Our ceremony will be taking place outdoors on a foot bridge with the mountains, hiking trails, and a ski lift in the background.

We chose to host our reception at one of our favorite restaurants in park city - riverhorse on main. the space is up one flight of stairs and mostly indoors, but opens up to an outdoor patio. the views of main street from the patio at night are some of the best!

Will there be a break between the ceremony and reception?

not too long, we promise!

if you want to squeeze in a cocktail with friends before or after the ceremony, we highly recommend going to high west saloon. it’s one of our favorite places in park city and only a 30 second walk to the ceremony location. another great option to pop into before we kick off the reception is palomino - it’s next door to riverhorse and makes some of the best cocktails we’ve had in old town

Is there an after-party?

there isn’t going to be a hosted after-party but if the newlyweds aren’t quite ready to call it a night after the reception, you will most likely find them at the spur up on stage with the band or doing a shotski

Where is the best place to meet up the next day?

nothing formal is planned for the day after our wedding but the rooftop of no name saloon and upstairs at the spur will be the best spots for day drinking and college football

Are children invited?

While we are keeping our celebration adults-only, we’re making an exception for littles that have been asked to be part of our wedding ceremony.

Park City is a family-friendly tourist town and has many top-rated babysitting services. these two have come very highly recommended:

Park City Sitters
Mountainside Sitters

What happens if it rains?

if rain is forecasted on the day of our wedding and there will be any modifications to the start time or location of our ceremony, we will ensure our guests are contacted via text a few hours before the start of the ceremony.

What is the parking / transportation situation?

We highly recommend staying in old town to take advantage of the towns walkability and all that main street has to offer! with that being said, there are plenty of options to get around, regardless of where you stay.

uber and lyft are very reliable in and around park city. there is also convenient and free transportation around town, including the main street trolley and shuttle service. metered street parking is available on main street as well as multiple public parking garages in old town. lastly, if staying at one of the deer valley resorts, many offer free private guest transportation. please check with your hotel / resort concierge team to confirm.

if you intend to drive to the ceremony, pay-as-you-go parking is available in the underground parking garage at 825 main street. there is also a large parking garage on swede alley, behind the reception venue.

please know that our ceremony and reception locations are a five to eight minute walk from each other.
